High-performance, cost-effective storage engineered for Avid Unity MediaNetwork systems.
XT
With a compact rack unit design, MEDIArray XT storage systems deliver either 4, 8 or 16 Terabytes (TB) of storage per 16-drive chassis. The MEDIArray line has a built-in layer of software intelligence that manages storage more efficiently, helps identify developing problems both within the storage subsystem and the clients, and isolates the drives so that the rest of the network is virtually unaffected if a drive does have a failure. With MEDIArray XT, up to 128 TB of storage is supported on an Avid Unity MediaNetwork v5.0 and later system.
Shared storage LP 4, 8 or 16 Terabytes
With a compact rack unit design, our MEDIArray LP storage systems deliver either 2.8 or 8 Terabytes (TB) of storage per 16-drive chassis. The 8 TB MEDIArray line has a built-in layer of software intelligence that manages the storage more efficiently, helps identify developing problems both within the storage subsystem and the clients plus isolates the drives so that the rest of the network is virtually unaffected if a drive does have a failure. With an 8 TB MEDIArray LP, up to 40 TB of storage is supported on an Avid Unity MediaNetwork system.
ZX4
MEDIArray ZX, Avid’s powerful shared storage offering for Avid Unity MediaNetwork systems, provides a cost-effective solution with a premium level of performance. With its 16 drive chassis, MEDIArray ZX provides almost 3 Terabytes (TB) of storage in a compact 4U rack unit design. The most important innovation within MEDIArray ZX, however, is a built-in, upgradable layer of software intelligence that manages the storage more efficiently, helps identify developing problems both within the storage subsystem and the clients, and isolates the drives so that the rest of the network is not affected in the unlikely case of a drive failure. Chassis configurations range from 1.44 TB to 2.88 TB, with options for expanding as the need arises. With MEDIArray ZX storage, over 17 TB are supported on a Unity MediaNetwork system.
