The PDW-U1 is the entry level XDCAM disc reader/burner. A USB connector on the back of the device allows the media accessed by a variety of editing and browsing computers, whether it be for just viewing and logging media or transfer to editing systems.
The media is accessed as a file based structure, therefore all XDCAM HD422, XDCAM HD and XDCAM SD formats are supported. Supplied with XDCAM Proxy Browser software.
